Personal ad update

I posted my personal ad a while ago.

I’m dying to write about what’s going on in excruciating detail. Itchy fingers!!

But I can’t. Not yet. Ha!

Stupid not-really-anonymous blog.

I WILL say, though, that Collarme.com actually worked okay. By that I mean that the number and quality of respondents that I got there was unexpectedly high. Of course that doesn’t mean they were a match for me, but they certainly weren’t inarticulate one-handed typists spewing idiocy at me. Most had read my profile, were polite and respectful, and I had a relatively pleasant exchange with most of them.

I ended up getting a few more responses from blog-readers after I whined about it, and unsurprisingly (because my readers are awesome!), those who did send me a note were really smart, lovely, sweet, articulate submissive men *swoon*.

I can say that putting the ad on my blog, even with only a tiny number of respondents, was well worth doing *smile*.

I can also say that true-to-form, geography is a bitch always and forever. Grrrr…

  1. I agree. That darn geography gets tricky. When is the scifi technology going to arrive? I need my transporter now! I’m glad it seems to have panned out for you though. I have also had some decent luck with collarme. I’ve met several nice and polite submissive men on there. I’m not exactly sure why it has a worse reputation than any other kinky dating site.

      Inorite?!!

I’m glad to hear that you did.

I suspect my age puts me outside of the search criteria for a lot of the silliness, but I also think that when you first join, you get ‘fresh meat’ emails and for women, that can be a bloodbath of idiocy.

  2. Ohhhhh this good news makes me so happy for you!! I am bursting with excitement. You know if you want to burst with excitement over it with anyone I am only an email away of course. *crosses fingers and toes for you*

Geography is a huge bitch! However, if it is to work out then I have a feeling you and him (whoever he is at that time) will figure it out together. I mean if he’s a smart man he will figure it out anyways because who doesn’t want a hot FemDomme with a rocking body and a sexy Australian accent?!!! *winks*

I just wanted to give you hope here :-)
I am living proof that IT IS possible to have a fulfilling relationship even when the man lives 10 000 km away. My man and I are doing it for 3 years know. It is not easy but it is worth it. Once you find the right guy, keep him :-)

    1. Oh, that’s so great to hear, I’m really glad you are making it work!! Congratulations to you both!

For me, I’m willing to build a relationship with someone who doesn’t live near me, but if we decide it’s worthwhile, we will plan to co-locate in the not-too-distant future. I know some people can make it work, but a long term LDR is not something I’m interested in.

  4. I hope someone will be in an excruciating state soon! You have been a wee bit more quiet about this one but very understandable. I hope the possibilities pan out. Now… you post this… then your first lesbian love post… hmmmm is there a twist in the plot ahead??

I hope you are waking each day with a bit of that ‘zing’ buzzing in your head, or in your stride, or wherever it resonates!
