I feel a little undeserving to be in the top 100 sex bloggers list this year because it seems like I haven’t really written much of interest of late (and goodness knows I ain’t gettin’ any sex to blog about!), but I DON’T CARE I’LL TOTALLY TAKE MY SPOT!! *shoves little old ladies and small children out of the way*. That makes it four years in a row! Wow!
Thank you to those lovely folks who nominated me and to everyone who gives me such wonderful support by continuing to read, by leaving thoughtful comments, by sending me lovely emails, and by asking me questions as if I know things. I really appreciate it.
Writing is one thing, a solitary thing, something that I do because I am moved to for various reasons. But of course, I could do that privately (and I do that also: Reams of jibber-jabber that will never see the light of day). But putting thoughts on a page and then out into the world is a different endeavour, and sharing those stories and having them resonate, or questioned, or validated, or refuted is where the value of this lies. And I can’t do that on my own. So when I say “I really appreciate it”, I want to all-caps it in big red font.
I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

Here’s the shiny badge thing that I get to ponce around with now. It’s just like a diamond tiara! Only small and square and digital. If I print it out and wear it on my head, people will totally go ‘wow, diamond tiara!’, I just know it!

I always find it fascinating how such an intelligent woman always fails to see the real value behind her writing. You allowed us a glimpse into your heart and taught us about the personal meaning behind language in “Hello Ma’am”. You shared warm memories in stories such as “Because I’m Happy”. You opened yourself and allowed us to see inside of you in glimpses such as “Vulnerability as courage”.
You have made us laugh, cry, feel, and see many things! Never underestimate the power of your blog.
