  1. *fans self* yes – hot! But then I like playing dressup with boys anyway :) They're so pretty when they're all stubbly and manly but sparkly and soft too.
    *happy sigh*

*smile* Playing dressup is really not my thing, but sometimes, I can totally get into it sideways, and at least one of those ways I sidle into it is the pretty masculine. Have I mentioned xdress.com before? Of course I have!

  3. slapshot: “I feel like *such* a cheap hussy when I wear a dress, so I only do it in private!”

Well, slapshot, maybe you need to get better quality dresses… then at least you can feel like a classy and stylish hussy!

  4. Treacherous blighters, skirts. Whenever I've been to a toga party, I've always got too drunk at some point to remember to keep my knees together. I'm not sure I feel able to recommend them to your male readership, Miss Ferns.

  5. C-pug: “I'm with Faith..Now Frens(see what I did there?) in a dress well my my”

Yes, I totally see what you did there *smirk*, and I can absolutely rock a girlie dress!!

No no no! Togas are the domain of the drunken frat boy and are singularly unappealing. NO drunkenness! A pretty dress, a becoming skirt, maybe some beautiful panties (xdress.com
, anyone?)… add a shy smile or a chest pounding 'raawwrrr' and I'm there!

Hmmm. Well, I've been masticating vigorously upon this matter, Miss Ferns, and I do recall trying on a woman's 'slip' (I think it was called), one time. It felt really good across the butt. Very slinky. I think I could carry off a clingy dress in the butt area. However, my knees let me down. They're lamentably knobbly. Happily, though, I do have very svelte and elegantly-turned ankles (after a bit of judicious shaving, natch), though I say it myself.

Pfft. I don't care, at bottom. What I look like is for other people, not for me. If 'she' were to find it fun to dress me up, then I'd be happy. It's her body to use, and all that. Fun, whatever.

Every female partner I've had has wanted to plaster my face with make up at some point or another. That's just what female partners do. I don't see this as much different.

Most of these things I find funny at worst, horny at best. Most often it's a mixture of both.

    And I'm a strumpet.

    So that's that.

  8. I drunkenly told my gf a while back that I had a fantasy of her pegging me doggystyle while I was wearing her old cheerleader outfit and sucking her ex bf's cock. Yeah……. was a bit early in our relationship for me to drop that one, even if only in fantasy. Yikes.

  9. Hi Sx…seriously you have just noted what advertisers have noticed. Put a hunk or spunk next to something…and all of a sudden it looks attractive too!
This is why Tattoos have taken off. Everyone thinks they will look like Angelina Jolie or David Beckham…not like the skank down the mall!
But almost all of us would look like the tragic skank with the tatt! Consequently I will not ruin your image of how good a dress looks like on a man by sending you a pic of me in one!!

I appreciate your restraint, and you are quite right, random 'man in a dress' is not my thing, but this one hits me just right…

  12. N: “Not my thing, and … why is he even wearing that?”

Unfortunately, due to the obsessive and unbecoming grunting and drooling (mine, natch!) driven by the lizard brain, asking 'why' did not occur to me. Not even once.

  13. Seriously?

I mean, yeah, I understand why *men* want to wear dresses (sometimes), but for the life of me, I can't quite get my head around how women themselves find this hot.

  14. Ferns: “Have I mentioned xdress.com before?”

*audible crash as jaw hits floor* I must have missed that! THANK YOU FERNS! *rushes off to play*

  15. Tom AllenL “Seriously?”

Yes, seriously. I never kid about the 'guh'ness of things.

“I mean, yeah, I understand why *men* want to wear dresses (sometimes), but for the life of me, I can't quite get my head around how women themselves find this hot.”

Me either, and honestly, I am not bothered with 'why'. Some things hit me just right. If I could present them to some fabulous man as a list and say 'do these things, this will work', I would, but the *something* completely confounds proper reasoning.

With these, my brain lights up, saliva is produced, I make incoherent noises… and there it is!

If I try to do 'why', the best I can come up with is that the contrast hits me just right. I love contrasts. Masculinity roaring in a dress. The 'meh, whatever' casualness in the retro pictures. The inherent confidence in it. The 'oh pretty!'. The 'fuck you!' over the whole thing. I just… just… guh!! Gotta go.

Me either, mostly I am completely uninterested, but yes, isn't he adorable?! He is!

  20. Awesome skirts.I wear a skirt everyday. To work and when im not at workPrior to WWII women could be arrested and jailed for appearing in public in pants in most U.S. States. With the onset of the war women went to work in the factories, dressesd and skirts were not practical and sometimes even dangerous. So women began wearing pants to work and it grew from there. So it has only been for around 70 years.Show Details
When a women says she want to wear a pair of pant, society celebrates her right for equality, but when a man say he wants to wear a skirt, his gender identity is brought into question. No one says a woman is crossdressing in pants, no one says that she is a lesbian, so why do we think these things of men. Attitudes towards men’s fashion is extremely sexist and restrictive.Skirts like pants are not “gender specific” like a bra thus are largely unisex! Anyone can wear them but of course there are styles better suited for men and women. Ever notice how women in pants still look like women yet a guy in a skirt will be accused of “cross dressing” or worse yet it is IMPOSSIBLE for women to “cross dress” because they already wear everything from the mans side of the wardrobe. The word should be banned as sexist.

  21. I’m late to the party but I wanted to show you this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_ySn3nX6gI

…which, now that I’m watching it for the first time in over a decade, only actually features the singer in a dress for a couple of brief glimpses starting at 2:30 or so. It made such an impression on me that I really remembered him as being in a dress the entire time. But anyway if you like the Brad Pitt pics I think this might have the juxtaposition of manly swagger and femme clothes.

The choreography of Yanis Marshal might also tickle your fancy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kc17H68IKMs

    1. Ha! It’s amazing what ‘sticks’ in your mind. And yes, they were short little glimpses and obviously there should have been more!

That strut when ‘crazy in love’ came on was absolute gold :).

Thank you for the links :)).
