Coming home

He buzzes her in, she climbs the stairs and opens the door.

He is waiting there in boxers, kneeling in position, his hands clasped behind his head. He looks up at her expectantly as she enters, doe-eyed and sweet. She tilts his face up to her by his chin, leans down to kiss his mouth, he opens immediately to her, reaching up to stay connected to her lips as she stands. His face breaks out in a broad grin as they separate.

“Hello Ma’am!” He is all but bouncing, she imagines his tail wagging enthusiastically, it makes her smile.

“Hello beautiful…”

She divests herself of her bag and coat and leads him to the couch, she is tired, it shows. She flops down, he kneels before her and reaches for her boot, undoing the zipper and pulling it gently from her foot, first one, then the other. He strokes her foot and calf through the short stockings she wears, then pulls them off also. She sighs, rests her feet on his thighs and he kneads them for her. They talk quietly about their respective days, she leans forward, her eyes on his, he reaches for the offered kiss.

She is glad to be home.

  1. Bah. My brother, Puppington, told me that you ran a BDSM blog here, Miss Ferns. I'm sorely disappointed with all this warm and comfy domestic bliss malarkey. It is much too gentle and cosy and nice for me.

PS: Mind you, my tail is waggier than his. If that's of any interest to you.

  2. Ah Pup you never heard of the spider and the fly ? First we lull you and then SNAP! the jaws close on you and you realise you're trapped

  3. Miss Coug,

Take no notice of Ouanquer. He doesn't know what he's missing.

Really, he doesn't. He told me recently that he'd had a dream after which he'd woken up feeling happy in a way that he hadn't for ages. He dreamt that he was hugging a woman who he knew to be his partner (just a 'generic woman' – the detais of 'her' weren't clear).

He really is a buffer. Of course he would have such a dream, if he'd not had that 'hug-ness' stuff for a long time.

I told him that he ought to be more conscious of that hug-ness stuff, and consciously set out to find it. That's what his dream was advising him. But will he listen? Hmmm. I don't know. You know what such males are like. Uncouth!

*nod nod* Thank you for your valuable input, Ouanquer… I shall take it on board. Kindly tell your brother to stop pointing you ouanquers at my blog.

In my experience, boys who have to *tell* me that their tail is waggier, do not, actually, have a very waggy tail at all…

  5. dave94: “nice writing. The little things like greeting your lover often keep a relationship going.”

Thanks dave94, and I totally agree that little rituals can be a lovely thing in amongst it all.
