I thought it had something to do with Twitter.

So, the date with the 6’5 cutie…

I texted him before I arrived at the restaurant and joked that he should wear a yellow ribbon so that I would recognise him. He fashioned something ribbon-ish out of post-it notes that he had presumably finagled from the wait-staff, and was wearing it tucked into his shirt when I arrived. Cute.

A week of posts – review

I did a week of posts, as planned (yay!) to try and kick-start my brain, so I thought I’d do a quick review of where my head is at.

It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be.

Writing about ‘whatever random thing was on my mind’ took the pressure off me to write about ‘something’, which was making me over-think and spin in my own head when my brain really wasn’t in the space for processing that. Red strappy stilettos & thongs

I haven’t posted any shoe pictures for ages. Main reasons for this:

  1. I’m living a life of leisure at the beach now, so I’m pretty much living in thongs (flip flops, you perves!)
  2. Related to the above, I haven’t got the myriad of occasions to wear fabulous shoes any more. I know: boo!!
  3. I no longer pass fabulous shoe shops on a daily basis to be tempted by new shinies, regardless of ‘need or not’

So here’s a double hit.

I went to the gym today. On my way out, the owner called me over when I passed the front desk, and asked if he could give me a hint.

He’s a nice man; knowledgeable, too friendly for my liking, but helpful, always remembers everyone’s names.

“Sure.”

“When you do the bicep curls right after the pulldowns, your muscles are tired, and you are using your body to lift the weight. If you put your back up against the machine, it’ll give you some support so you don’t put your back into it…”
